I just learned about a 12-year-old golden retriever, Smiley the service dog, and it made my day. Despite being born without eyes, Smiley became a certified therapy dog and has been teaching people to “live in the moment,” according to his owner Joanne George. I can't help but "smile" looking at photos of Smiley because he genuinely looks so happy to be alive. ? It's obvious how much he loves his family and I'm grateful that they chose to share Smiley with us.
