I was looking through some of my photos the other day of my time in the arctic of Svalbard and came across this picture of Monacbreen glacier. This glacier is 5 miles long and the icy turquoise waters below provide perfect habitat for seals, birds, and beluga whales. To give you some perspective on how high it is, that zodiac in bottom right corner is about a half mile away from the base of the glacier! That's a big chunk of ice!
