Shot during one of the workshops I am teaching at the Salton Sea.
Before it was shut down and boarded up at the end of the tourist boom in the early 70’s the Salton City Yacht Club was the place to be. Fluctuating sea level with increased salinity hastened its decay, and in 2000 it was completely demolished, leaving only an ensemble of dying palm trees as a monument to the City’s former glory.
