The love of my life, Tom Bridegroom, died four years ago today. I've been struggling with this anniversary, for a handful of reasons, but mostly because I couldn't decide on the best way to honor him. As I was writing him a letter (which I just posted on my public Facebook page) I realized that I wanted to share it because I have learned over the past few years that being vulnerable and opening up with others can be a very healing and empowering experience.

Many of you have been following me on my journey and have shown me a tremendous amount of love and support. THANK YOU for that. I know some of you have been concerned that I am living in the past or closing myself off from the possibility of new love or moving on, but I want you to know that I am okay.
