PORTER STANDでは「旅」というコンセプトを元にPOSTがセレクトした写真集を販売しています。
本日は、新たに加わった写真集の中 から「Father Photographer」をご紹介いたします。
ロバート・フランクの父ヘンリーフランクはチューリッヒで自転車屋を営んでいましたが、アマチュア写真家としても活動していました。
当時まだ高価だった写真撮影は日常的に使われることなく、休日の旅先で家族を被写体に写真を撮影していました。
古き良き時代の、家族の旅の記録写真としても面白い写真集です。
店頭にて現物をご用意しています。

Hello.
At PORTER STAND we carry photobooks selected by Post under a concept of "TRIP". Today we would like to introduce "Father Photographer" which has just been added to the line-up.
Robert Frank's father Henry Franks was both the owner of a bicycle shop in Zurich, and an amateur photographer.
Since photo shooting was still costly at that time, he did not take photos daily but took photos of his family during trips on weekends.
This is an interesting photobook also as a documentary photography of a family trip back in the good old days.
