33/100: trying new things :: my first Handmade watercolour book from Handbook Journal Co. (and a larger sized landscape watercolour book as well). The Handmade watercolour book pages are made from 100% post consumer waste. The paper is handmade, deckle-edged, 100% cotton fiber, 300 GSM heavy weight, archival quality and acid-free. The texture is just lovely and I've never created on anything like this before. Excited would be an understatement. Annnnd on top of this, I got all of the above for way less than the price of one due to my coupon-cutting and sale-scavenging superpowahs. That in itself is almost more exciting than the actual finds, ya know what I'm saying? It was like a kiss from heaven during a very challenging week. Some people buy bonbons, chocolate or ice cream.
