When I come here, at least ones a year, I always feel gratitude for the American soldiers that gave their life for the freedom of my Country during the World War II. I feel also gratitude for the thousands of American families that decide to leave their dear relative buried here so I can pay homage to them everytime I pass through Florence.4402 heroes are buried here. 213 are unknown. 4 are the ladies.But they represent less than 40% of the Americans died in the area. And there are several memorial as this, betweens US, British and Canadians troops, in Italy. And many more in Europe.Thanks guys.
