A whale sharks swims in shallow water in La Paz Bay, Baja California Sur. El Niño like conditions resulted in calm and clear water allowing me to make unusual photographs like this one where the whale shark is framed by its shadow and reflection. Shot on assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック magazine for a forthcoming story on Baja Marine Reserves.
