I spent so many years worrying about what other people would think and say about me, people I didn't even know who probably didn't even notice me at all. I worried about what I wore, walking around in my jeans and baggy jumpers, was I showing off too much skin as a mother by wearing a vest top? Should I be in a bathing suit instead of a bikini on the beach? Did I deserve to attempt to dress fashionably knowing I'd probably get it completely wrong. And when I became a single parent I realised that it never mattered at all, life isn't based upon other people's opinions of you, it's your own opinions that matter.
