As many of you know, there has been significant backlash from groups of people who feel that their religious freedom has been trampled upon as a result of the recent Supreme Court ruling. A few weeks ago, CatholicVote.org released a video expressing its disapproval of marriage equality. The video was disappointing and offensive, and I recently took part in a video responding to the group's message. I'm very proud to share it with you all.

I am a firm believer that we all have the right to believe in whatever we want, but religious beliefs should not trump one's legal rights to equality or be used to marginalize others.
