"When I was cleared to photograph #Rush at the MGM Grand in Vegas on their 40th anniversary and what is possibly their final tour, I knew I had to capture some nice shots of #NeilPeart. I've always been fascinated by Peart's drumming style and chops and was determined to get some photos of the master at work. Getting drummer shots is always tricky. They are usually obstructed and the view is always narrow, sometimes so narrow you just can't get any depending on the pit location. There was one nice sight line and some beautiful lighting so I was happy to get as many nice frames of him as Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson. It was a solid two-set show spanning 40 years of Rush and one of the most memorable photo shoots I've been on in recent years." As told to @Rolling Stone by photographer @erikkabik
