I can't provide you all with a "before" picture as my glutes were nonexistent....But(t)? I think some progress can be noted from these three pics. 16 months ago, 6 months ago, and today.
For glutes, I love exploring new stimuli to optimize muscle activation, but my FAVOURITE exercise has to be the #hipthrust. For my volume, I alternate between heavy and lighter weight, and I change up my rep scheme to train for strength and on form/muscle recruitment.
My primary resource for glute training comes from #TheGluteGuy himself, @bretcontreras1 Bret is a strength and conditioning coach/pHD candidate/researcher/author/Glute GOD lol. He has loooooads of articles on his website, content ranging from strength training to philosophical reflections (my favourite). He also has a YouTube channel full of informative vids.
