The ULTIMATE bum exercise ? If you have never tried a hip thrust, you're missing out. It's my favourite exercise for targeting glutes. I recommend using a barbell and going heavy for about 8-10 reps (here I'm doing 80kg). Push through your heels and squeeze your bum at the top. Pop some padding on the bar so you don't hurt your hips.
