Sometimes people see how hard I train, how disciplined I am, how much passion I put into it all... and they shake their heads and laugh. They say I'm crazy.
I'm not crazy. I just have high goals, and will push myself beyond all norms and boundaries to get there. I will go out and run until I can hardly breathe and my legs give out. I will lift weights long after everyone else has left the gym. I will repeat skills on the court and in my mind, until I can perform consistently near perfection. I will push myself further than I think I can go, day after day, just to prove to myself that I have no limits.
The people shaking their heads and laughing at me. The ones who live inside their padded little comfort zones. The ones who are afraid of sweat, blood, & tears. The ones who are satisfied with being mediocre...
I think you are crazy.
