Watching my kids challenge themselves is truly one of my favorite things. When I took Mazzy ice skating in Rockefeller Center, she used single blade skates for the first time. I was scared that she would fall and give up quickly, but she surprised me. She seemed to instinctually know that falling is a big part of learning. After going around a few times holding my hand, Mazzy said she was okay to do it on her own. Then she stumbled, got back up and tried again. #EddietheEagle is out in theaters today! It is an inspiring true story about a boy that grew up wanting to be in the Olympics and the mom who supported him even when his odds looked pretty grim. The mom isn't a main character but I guarantee you will watch it through her eyes! I loved it. #ad
