Paget – elevation 9629 feet – the highest peak on the island of South Georgia (and also the highest mountain in any British territory ) I was fortunate enough to join a circumnavigation of the island aboard the HMS Endurance survey vessel, and spent many hours in helicopters documenting glacial retreat on this remote, and spectacular, sub-Antarctic island. #southgeorgia #helicopter #nikonphotography
