Four years ago today I met my baby boy for the very first time and he is and always will be my Angel Gabriele. This little person never existed before, didn't know what love was, how to eat or speak but here he is a living and breathing piece of my heart. And so day by day, sleepless night by tireless morning I guided him with kisses and cuddles, tending to his every need, holding him close whenever he was afraid or unsure, keeping him warm, fed, smiling and learning. When he was a year old our lives changed forever and it became just the three of us, me, Gabriele and Millie. Through my heartbreak I had to become even more stronger for my babies, their provider, protector and safe haven all in one. My children taught me to have strength when I was weak, to stay focused without sleep, to love unconditionally, give all I have and more and never expect anything in return, yet I'd walk the earth on my hands and knees simply for a hug and a kiss. My son is the man I've always dreamed of meeting, kind, caring, selfless, considerate, positively overflowing and enthusiastic. Don't make excuses for a difficult life, become the change this world needs.
