Photo by @DavidDoubilet // I found the happiest place on Earth on South Georgia Island in March. We snorkeled with fur seal pups in small seaside pool where hundreds were learning to swim in 2-3 feet of water. These guys were curious and playful tugging on every loose strap or cord and snuggling together at my legs. The Antarctic fur seal was hunted to commercial extinction but is now protecting and rebounding. 95% of the worlds population of the this species breed in #SouthGeorgia.
