Garbanzo Guac❤️
Who can sit down and eat an entire avocado in one sitting??? (or 2...)
Yes, avocado is full of healthy fats, but as will with all fats, the serving size is much smaller than that of carbs or proteins.
To control my portions when it comes to guacamole, I portion out my chips before I sit down. When they run out, the Guac goes away!
I used Beanitos black bean chip.??
Ingredients:
• 1 can of @edenfoods garbanzo beans (I love this brand because they have BPA free cans!)
• 3 ripe avocados
• 1-2 vine tomatoes (depending on how much you like tomatoes)
• Minced red onion
• Cilantro
• 2-3 lemons or limes
• Himalayan sea salt
• Black pepper
• Cayenne pepper
• Paprika
??
Before adding the garbanzos (chickpeas) to the rest of the ingredients, rinse and throw them in a food processor or ninja/nutribullet with the lime and pulse!
The garbanzos add some protein and fiber to the mix and don't really change the taste or texture of the Guac!
Ps. Why isn't there an avocado emoji??
