'How long should I hold my stretches?'
?? This is such a common question I get asked! The longer you can hold a stretch, the better BUT if you are strapped for time I always suggest a minimum of 10 long deep breaths in and out...
The reason you count with breathing is because every time you focus on an out breath it allows your body to relax and send you deeper into the stretch ?
