Some of you have asked what you can do to help refugees. First of all, thank you for asking. My view is that we cannot stay silent. Now more than ever, you can help share their stories, be their voice. You can pick up your phone and call your congressmen or representatives to make sure they know you stand with refugees. You can have a conversation with a refugee family, find a @theirc office near you in the US to welcome them, volunteer with them, teach them English. You can spread the truth. You can make a contribution to one of these organizations like @theirc.
Whatever you can- but it's time to act. Not to wait.
