If you've noticed that I haven't been posting much lately, it's because my dear friend Matt, the husband of @emmenewyork, one of my very best friends, got sick suddenly with an extremely rare form of brain cancer and passed away on July 31st. It is a devastating loss of a truly wonderful man, husband and father. Emily asked me to share some of the words I spoke at his memorial service yesterday which you can read on my blog. There were so many family members, friends and colleagues at the service who were touched by Matt's charisma, his creativity and his kindness and my hope is that by sharing a little bit about him, his life has the opportunity to touch people who didn't know him as well. We are all so sad, but feel so lucky to have known him.
