On the subway yesterday a young boy sitting next me head lying on his backpack . He felt tired he felt sad - I know I'm a mom and I'm away from my kids so perhaps I'm projecting but I felt so much for this kid. When I got to my stop I touched his back and asked him if he was ok he said oh yeah and said it was his stop too. His eyes were red he looked exhausted. I walked behind him for a bit wishing I could do something. He walked one way I walked another. A little later I heard a loud gruff male voice telling his young sons they were stupid . I yelled in the subway NO way /stop and then told the kids it's not true:: They passed by -the father oblivious to me the boys taking me in. Everyone with their headsets on blocking out the pain . I had this thought, what if we set up tables and chairs in the subway where kids could come for a glass of a water a piece of fruit and a hug. Circles of women everywhere just sitting in public spaces offering heart medicine -presence :: so much pain in this world and yes so much beauty :: what if we stood for love ❤️ #annapurnaliving
