it's soup season here finally - perfect for warming us all from top to toe and filling those little holes in the belly. I've got a pot of kale and white bean on just now and I'm hovering round the stove waiting for it to bubble - a much needed salve for curing the chill I caught this morning after chasing a persist goshawk away from the chicken coop - bolting out the door both times with barely a pair of bean boots on my feet and certainly no time for jacket
