The only way to make and keep those gains IS recovery! Perfect example: I took 3 days off over the weekend and came in yesterday feeling so much stronger and energized (also a thank you super bowl food 😂). So many assume that I or other fitness peeps workout hours a day everyday and yes, some do like elite athletes, but for me and the majority just trying to get healthier and increase muscle, having days (and hours for the elite haha) off is mandatory. 🏋🏻‍♀️ I workout about 4-5 times a week for about 45 min of actual training time. Some less, some more. Also eating enough is crazy important for recovery! A lot of people make the mistake of not eating enough to FUEL and GROW muscle. They just tend to “eat less, exercise more” but sometimes that can lead to burning up your hard earned muscle and other health issues.
