I met some inspirational staff from @theirc at a health clinic in Bidi Bidi settlement, Uganda. Midwives, doctors, clinicians. They’ve helped to deliver 1,400 babies since October 2016. The staff and volunteers of the IRC are angels to these refugees.

These dedicated health care workers have been living in tents as well as treating their patients in tents for the past two years. They are temporary and not fit for the monsoon rains we experienced. The response here is only 5% funded. We must do more to support these life saving efforts which benefit both the refugees and their Ugandan hosts.
