My plant based life - my friends, even my husband wonders what my diet is. Sometimes I’ll be strictly vegetarian, and other days I’ll take a bite of meat. The thing is, I don’t share my activity 24/7. Depending on where I am (country or restaurant), and what nutrition I need, I’ll eat what my body needs and and what they can provide. I call this “#heartalignedeating” others call this plant based. I don’t like labels, I just want to eat healthfully, be good to myself, others, and be kind to the earth our provider. I have had eating disorders in the past (dieting story link in bio) and been attacked by vegans on IG scolding me on what to eat. Fighting bulimia in the past for 10 years, I know that controlling what I eat again would kill me. There are so many problems in the world, and I don’t know why my diet would affect someone so much to attack me, but I stand my ground. I wouldn’t become vegan to make anyone happy, nor would I ask vegans to eat meat to make me happy. I have stopped judging others by the way they eat and their preferences because being a vegan/vegetarian/pescatarian or whatever doesn’t make them a good person. Kindness, respect for others and their choices, sharing a meal with them and enjoying life is what makes me happy. I wish you many more happy delicious meals for your entire life!
