Mazzy and Harlow had their first day of camp this week. It was Harlow's first time in "big kid" camp so I was a little worried since drop-offs were not the smoothest all last year. The night before, she told me she was the nervous and asked if she had to go every day. I told her that we should talk about it again after her first week. Drop-off wasn't perfect but she did good. She was a bit clingy and hanging onto my leg, but then she saw a counsellor she knew from last year who shouted her name. Harlow ran over, sat in her lap and then said goodbye to me without too much fuss. When I picked her up, the counsellors told me she was the only kid who scored a goal in hockey that day. On the car ride home, she told me, "I want to go to camp all the days."
