it is the one love I am certain of, my work.
It still takes me away and allows me to fall into a trance.
everything will fall into place friends.
I’m living proof.. mom didn’t want me to cook for a living.
The irony is that I come from four generations of Japanese artists + including her & I could not deny my calling. If you are called to do something, follow the path — continue to pave & I will be happy to see you along the journey.
I come from passion, talent, education & skills. Hard work is all I have to offer. I am so humbled by grace, I couldn’t even put it into words- but I could put it into a cake.
It is what we have to offer when we are not privileged ??it still humbles the deepest parts of my heart.
These cakes ? although beautiful- are cathartic art for me, moments of bliss w my ?+ ♥️ — what is your passion? What is your calling?
What is a life lived if we do not do more of what we love & help others? xx
