My first and last AVP of 2018!

I decided last minute that I wanted to go play in AVP Chicago (cause why not ??‍♀️). Through some connections, @eczappia and I teamed up, and did I get lucky or what. She’s a stud.
.
We decided that if we were going to do this, we were really going to give it everything we’ve got. Keep in mind, I’ve been playing indoor volleyball all summer with the national team. So I had one week to transition to the sand as quickly as possible.
.
We hit the beach training hard every day. A big thank you to all that helped! Seeing how much progress we made in one week.. you guys, it was so exciting. We kicked ass.
.
We ended up not making the main draw in Chicago. Bummed because I think we could have made a case for ourselves if we had pushed through. But it’s a start! Great things never come from comfort zones, you have to go out and get it. And we did. ✔️
