This offseason I am putting the pedal to the medal and incorporating many different tactics. What you see here is a favorite flank steak, and if haven’t tried it I would highly recommend it as its a great source of lean protein, packed with B-vitamins, iron, phosphorus, zinc, and selenium. Not to mention a great source of creatine. This cut is best used for kabobs, or stir-frys or just grilled up. It’s very lean, be careful not to overcook it and is best medium-rare to prevent it from becoming too tough, it's lower in fat and can dry out pretty fast. After a workout I like to make sure I get a solid source of potassium to replace whatI lost in sweat.
