今日の和菓子：琥珀空
秋は夕暮れ。夕日の差して山の端いと近うなりたるに、からすの寝所へ行くとて、三つ四つ、二つ三つなど飛び急ぐさへあはれなり。枕の草子の時代から、やはり秋は夕暮れどきが趣があるのですね。そんな秋の情景をイメージして作った琥珀色の和菓子（カラメル味）です。

Today’s Wagashi : Amber Dusk
In autumn the evenings, when the glimmering sun sinks close to the edge of the hills and crows fly back to their nests in threes and fours and twos; more charming still is a file of wild geese, like specks in the distant sky… This is a famous opening section of the pillow book (Makura no Soshi) by Sei Shonagon. Although the book was completed c. 1002 CE during the Heian Period, we still enjoy the evening atmosphere in autumn. This Japanese confectionary is inspired by the beautiful autumn scenery turned amber colour in the evening.
