It was a Saturday night in the riverside town near Cologne. The pubs were filled with locals. Young couples were enjoying the walk along Moselle river as it finds its way from France to Rhine and then the North Sea. The castle of Cochem (Reichsburg) from the 12th century was sitting under the celestial Scorpion with bright star Antares near the center.
Out of about 20,000 remaining castles in Germany, this imperial castle is an icon.
