The thousands of creeks and streams that line the shores of the Great Bear Rainforest will be the stage of this epic migration upstream to spawn. As indigenous communities fight to keep Norwegian fish farms out of British Columbia’s waters, where the massive effluent of bacteria, parasites and viruses from these farms threatens the wild salmon runs with extinction, the beauty of the entire ecosystem is a reminder that we are all connected.
