This is a beautifully delicate and unusual print of Ormond Gigli’s well-known photo ‘Girls in the Window, New York, 1960’.
Featuring models, Manhattan socialites, and even the photographer’s wife standing in colourful dresses in the windows of a derelict row of brownstones in Manhattan, the original photo was conceptualised, staged and shot by Gigli in the space of 24 hours, the day before the building was due for demolition.
