A carousel of panning shots of #snowPetrels taken on my very first assignment for @ナショナルジオグラフィック in Antarctica. The story wasn’t about birds, it was a 2 month long expedition to interior #Antarctica to climb an unnamed technical peak with @mikelibecki @freddiewilkinson and @Cory Richards. There’s a lot of downtime on expectations like this and in with an average temperature of -20 Fahrenheit the best way to stay warm is to move around. I spent a lot of my time shooting time-lapses, photographing landscapes and birds, our only living companions out there. These motion blur shots are just a few of thousands that I shot, something that probably tormented my good friend and editor @sadiequarrier, sorry Sadie ?
