This was a pretty haunting photo to take, I remember the evening vividly. Seeing this #gentoo penguin standing in an iceless scene among a graveyard of whale bones was surreal. The bones, a mistake from the past when blue whales were hunted to near extinction. The lack of ice, a mistake from our present, an ever warming climate directly correlated to excessive pollution.
