My name is Michael Morris! I teach 4, 5 and 6 math in Roxbury, Massachusetts at Mission Grammar School! This is a school that has free lunch and breakfast for all scholars. I have had such a great experience and my kids are BRILLIANT. It’s so important to make my scholars love math now so they can continue to be mathematicians throughout their schooling. I’m also back in school right now and my professor has proven the importance of hands on and fun math/STEM activities. She has given so many great ideas and I’ve been so inspired, but a lot of these things/idea are expensive. We get a 50 dollar balance at my school but that only covers about 3 or 4 new books. Being chosen would be so helpful and allow me to get my kids excited about math!! Thank you for doing this!! ?
