"This was my first time seeing sunrise at Deception bay, I love to get in early and being my first visit I was set up around 45 min before the sun was due to rise.
It was one of the calmest mornings that I can remember and low tide made it much easier to get where I wanted and had exposed all of the rocks and mangrove roots.
I love the instant reward for getting up early, watching the sky fill with colour and listening to nature as everything wakes up.
It was perfect to shoot some longer exposures as there was little to no wind and the water was barely moving.
Just another simple and beautiful location that I can't wait to go back too." - @neilj.photo
