The beautiful and elegant Maksa.
Maksa (full name Maksimillian after the #bionicdog) is one of our Fox Ambassadors at the #JABCECC. .
She came to us from the Russian Fox Farm project... at the Institute of Cytology and Genetics in Novosibirsk, RU.
We had asked the folks that run the program if they ever had a Georgian Red color and they said no... Then I asked if they ever bred a Georgian White color with a Red color fox... and they said no... we were surprised that since they select based upon tameness and not color, that by happenstance a Red color and Georgian white color would have been paired. They saw no genetic reason not to try the pairing and thus we got Maksa.... the first Russian domesticated Georgian white with red fox- and she is absolutely gorgeous and absolutely a sweetheart. Even though she grew up with Viktor and Mikhail.... she grew up to be such an elegant lady!!! 😂🤣 .
If you have had the pleasure to meet her... you know what I am talking about and likely you fell in love with her beautiful soul!! .
When we were invited by Melissa at @dandeliondreamsphoto to do a photoshoot with her, we knew that getting some beautiful head shots would be the perfect compliment to our “portfolio”... what we didn’t realize is how she was able to capture their personalities, their little spirits with perfection. We are overwhelmed with gratitude over the gift she have given to us.... .
