taking this photo kinda shook me for a min at how muscly my legs looked! but not in a bad way, more in a "gee willikers batman" kinda way????‍♀️

truth is I've spent way too long hating my body for all it was not,

that I started to lose sight of all that is was.
⠀
In expressing gratitude and appreciation for my skin, I've built a home within myself, but that wasn't the end of self-acceptance.

because over time, you realize that your body can look one way or another, but the constituents within this space triumphs the shell?

so I am grateful for the home I've built
but just as grateful for what's inside?
