I woke up to this. Have you ever gotten up and close and personal with a glacier?
The massive wall of ice that comprises Margerie Glacier is an imposing sight at any time of day, but at 6am with a purple sky it’s the stuff of Medieval tales.

BTW - this was taken during my @uncruise small boat trip to Alaska. Another benefit of the small ship was how breathtakingly close we were able to get to these giant walls of ice. ?❄️ Have you seen a glacier IRL? What’d you think?
