I wanted to give you some great news!!! Our campaign to inspire pet stores to only use Adoption Partners who don't condone and perform declawing is working, thanks to all of your respectful voices!!!❤️❤️ #voiceforthevoiceless .
So far @petco , @petsuppliesplus , and @chowhoundpet have shown us that they truly care about the welfare of all animals and will not allow any of their Adoption Partners to condone or perform declawing!
PLEASE POST A BIG THANK YOU TO THESE 3 COMPANIES AND THANK THEM FOR CARING ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ALL CATS! Give them GREAT reviews too! People are always looking for humane companies, who care about the welfare of animals, to take their business to.

This campaign started last summer when one of our supporters alerted us to a rescue in Pennsylvania that was in a Petco store, who was advertising and performing declawing on their rescued cats. .
We respectfully reached out to Petco and alerted them about what this rescue was doing, and Petco immediately reached out to them and told them that Petco and the Petco Foundation do not support the practice of declawing unless it is a medical necessity. This rescue took down the declawing info from their website and they are still with Petco and are getting lots of cats into loving homes without having their toe bones and claws barbarically amputated.
Win win for the cats!
When you EDUCATE the public about the FACTS about declawing and about the EASY, humane options, most caring and decent human beings won't want to harm and mutilate their beloved cats. ,
When they know better, they do better. .
Your voice does make a difference. Remember to ALWAYS take the high road and be respectful and educate.
