春先に花が咲くことを知らせる風のことを「花信風」というそう。自然と共に生きてきた日本人ならではの感性が感じられる素敵な言葉。そんな春の便りを届けてくれる風をイメージして作った茶巾絞りの和菓子です。

Today's Wagashi : Spring Wind
In spring, flowers bloom, birds and bugs drink the nectar from the blossoms.
In Japan, the spring wind let us know about the blooming flowers called “Kashinfu”. This word reflects the Japanese sensitivity who have lived in harmony with nature for a long time.
This confectionary is inspired by the wind bringing the sign of spring.
