Well, in Automobili Pininfarina’s new Battista “hypercar,” you can actually accelerate faster than a F-16 jet. The electric vehicle, which was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show, is reportedly the most powerful road car ever made.⁣

The Battista can produce 1,900 brake horsepower across four separate motors, which power each wheel. It has been called the fastest street-legal car, hitting 62 mph in under 2 seconds.⁣
⁣
The car is so powerful that CEO Michael Perschke said a restricted version of the vehicle with a top speed of 217 mph will be first released for safety reasons.⁣
But to buy one of the 150 Battistas that will be available in 2020, you’ll need to pay a price: $2.2 million, to be exact.⁣
