Yesterday, at the Barbie pop-up, each girl got to pick a future career to put on the box of the doll version of themselves. Harlow picked the first female president of the United States. More on that new goal later. Mazzy picked “first female unicorn.” It was the perfect answer for her and we all laughed. Then someone sent me a DM to point out that a “unicorn” also happens to be the term used for a privately held start-up valued at over $1 billion. Mazzy wouldn’t be the first female unicorn but she would certainly be one of very few! Turns out both my kids are aiming high! ??
