I’ve been connected to this post by a comment and tag promoting our classes. There are many specialist postnatal fitness classes and online programmes @buggyfit_at_home that understand the unpredictability if motherhood. Working out with likeminded parents can be a massive support network too. Outdoors, fresh air, vitamin d and laughs with other mums and dads having the same struggles with little sleep!
That said, we created our online programme for those who wish to start rehabilitation and regaining core strength while still in their pjs without brushing their hair😉.
Do what’s right for you, just start safely to gain maximum results. Going out too hard too soon could be more detrimental than good so look for trained advice. Kicking like this may be fine for Simone whose body is used to it but could cause pelvic pain for a mum who hasn’t kicked before. & give yourself a break...... you’ve just grown a baby, now for nurturing it (& you) . 💕

Omg @glouiseatkinson I’m getting frustrated for you with all of these comments. I’m a first time mum and I got the same. ‘You won’t leave the house’, ‘you won’t have time to do this or that’ etc etc. Guess what I did what I wanted to do and my LO is fine and so am I! Actually we are better than fine we are nailing this sh*t! We went out from day one and both of us survived! I’ve even go to the hairdressers with him. You’ll find at most places there will be someone that loves a baby. Once I got signed off from my doctor I joined @buggyfituk_official (highly recommended) and prior to that I walked everywhere with baby in a sling (great for bonding and reflux babies). You do whatever suits you and your little one. You’ll be an amazing mother regardless of what others think or say. Happy mum happy baby.

I wish people would stop telling you what you can and can’t do. It’s frustrating. You go out and kick some ass girl ❤️. To all those who have turned in to ‘Dr I know it all’, zip it. It’s not your pregnancy and it’s not your life. Also, this girl is a normal human being with insecurities and goals like the rest of us so think before you speaks. Dickheads.

Gemma, poke pessimism in the face with high flying super kick... I may be a few pounds heavier, but I just cartwheeled my 3 months post partum body - it was my 4th labour experience, and all were dramatically different... Sheer determination, and a sense of humour is how I’m able to block those ‘negative Nelly’s’ in my life! Man, I like following you!

Growing a baby or not, you know your body better than anyone else and what you are capable of!!! I've not been able to high kick since having children but then again I couldnt before 😂🤣

💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼 go for it! I have a 9month old and with a support system you find time to gym! Or if not then home workouts 🤷🏻♀️ I don’t miss out on him as I go when he is in bed... xx
