She was imported from Germany as a #puppy & used as a #breeder until she couldn’t produce for them anymore. They #threw her away!! We #rescued this #gorgeous #sweet and #amazing girl and have her a #forever home with our pack. 1 1/2 yrs ago, she had a radical chain #mastectomy - she had #cancer - we took her to @ethosvethealth #VSH - she did well and recovered completely! #bettystrong . Fast forward to last week.... all of the sudden there was blood everywhere!! We had no idea who was bleeding and from where!! I couldn’t breath with #panic - discovered it was #bettyboo and she has a large #necrotic mass on her back hind area!! Luckily our local vet was on his way #desertvet in Hurricane. Dr Bice examines her, clipped the hair around and said it will need to be removed. We left as soon as we could and drove her straight to #VSH - they scheduled her surgery for this morning and indicated that she should be okay until then. . Every night I would wake up numerous times so afraid to check to see if she was still breathing... so afraid we had lost her... she was still bleeding, but eating well!! So, I had a short trip for work planned. I was going to cancel it, but Dave reminded me that it is better to go before than after her surgery. She would need me after!! So, with so much trepidation, I boarded my flight. Of course, when it rains it pours... my flight on #delta was delayed due to some truck being stuck and my connection in #msp was tight! I asked to get off the plane, as I would rather be with my sick dog, then stuck in #msp! They couldn’t let me off... and the flight attendant assured me they knew I was coming!! I got off that plane and ran across the airport... I ran for Betty!! I ran to make me leaving her worth it!!! I got to the gate, sweaty, exhausted, but with 5 minutes to spare!!! And the door was still open!!! . I was elated!! I had done it!! I had made it!!! I told the gate agent- (a women) she looked at me, picked up the phone and called to the gate agent (who was at the door) - all she said was....」3月21日 3時22分
