The Gunnison River shimmers like a ribbon in the pink light of sunrise at Black Canyon of the Gunnison #NationalPark. The Painted Wall rises 2,250 feet from river to rim, making it the tallest cliff in #Colorado. There are no maintained or marked trails for hikers who want to explore the inner canyon. Only individuals in excellent physical condition should attempt these hikes. For most of us, the view along the canyon rim is more than enough.
