When I first became a mom, I was always looking for my mom tribe. The women who would be there to support and encourage me through the many ups and downs of motherhood, and vice versa. I think I found it easier online than in real life at first. But slowly, I found my people. I want to take a moment to talk about one member of my tribe who means the world to me. @lucytupustudio is one of the kindest, most generous women I know. I have not had the easiest year, due to our ongoing home renovation debacle, but through it all, Lucy has continually opened her doors to my family and made us feel like we are welcome. Her family has had us over for countless meals and occasions. She designed a beautiful rug for my apartment and when she brought it over, she also brought a bottle of champagne and filled my place with flowers so that all the mistakes and unfinished work were temporarily hidden by lilies and dahlias. I can't even tell you how much that gesture meant to Mike and me, and how much we needed it. This Mother's Day, I'm partnering with @mercichocolates to celebrate all the moms in our tribes who support us, encourage us and help us be better moms ourselves.
